"One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world."

In 2012, only 12-year-old Pakistani Malala Yousafzai was nearly killed when a Taliban fighter shot her in the head. It was a specially targeted attack against her because she spoke out against the Taliban and the ban on girls from attending school. She survived the attack and continued her struggle. She was awarded the Nobel Prize for it in 2014. In this documentary Malala tells about her family, the relationship with her parents and younger brothers, her struggle for the right to education, the attempt on her life and the reason why she does not give up.
