"Most men would have given up...But not the crew of PT 109"
Growing up in a sheltered affluent environment, John F. Kennedy attends Harvard University, where he graduated in 1940. After this he enlists in the navy in September 1941, where as commander of PT 109 (a small patrol ship with 13 men on board) he faces hot fires in the Pacific Ocean and shows bravado and character. This becomes apparent when his ship is overrun by a much larger Japanese ship and he goes to great lengths to save his people.
