Very mediocre film. Seen a few reasonable moments, but certainly compared to the excellent first part this is still quite bad. Especially the new, charismaless Henry is nothing compared to Rooker.

A few weeks ago I bought a double DVD containing both the first and the second, on which I saw the first part two weeks ago, which did not fully convince me. Then the obligation to see the second follows and I already had the question beforehand why on earth would you make something like this and not even with the original actor. A recipe for something bad if you ask me, and that is what it turned out to be.

And actually every word about this film is too much. Rooker has been replaced by Giuntoli and is a disgrace compared to Rooker and can't bring anything extra for a moment except staring stupidly into space, the soundtrack is of the cheap ass electronic toe-curling kind, and the action and murders are poured into a soulless, uninteresting story, if there is a story at all, and it is actually all too bad for words.

It is clear that one will have to leave it at part 1 and basically everything about this is partly bad except for the two women in the form of Walsh and Levinson. Apart from that forget it very quickly, better still just don't start.
