Poor bigfoot movie.

Deep in America's redneck landscape, families still live in homes miles apart. Where there is no telephone connection, where everyone has a shotgun, and where the average IQ of most residents does not seem to be higher than that of a tortoise.

Characteristic of the narrator, this is actually a documentary.

Most of the roles were also played by the people who (in their own words) actually experienced this. Besides acting in this film (however bad it may be) they also tell what they have experienced with the monster.

The film has a nice atmosphere (partly due to its low-budget appearance).

Hell, the monster doesn't look very believable (even though you can't get a close look at it)

The monster itself is a bit aloof in the film. Besides haunting houses at night and farmers eating their cattle, he doesn't do much either.

The conclusion is that it is a pretty boring film, of which they should have made a documentary entirely.

I can't believe that this was a hit in the drive-in cinemas.

Incidentally, The Wild Man of the Navidad is a pretty big rip-off of this movie.
