Shin Kaitei Gunkan plot

In 1932, the Japanese army investigates a huge crater that was struck by a mysterious meteorite. They discover a substance that can generate infinite energy and use it during WWII as fuel for the submarine Ra, which is ordered to destroy the American submarine Liberty.
