This was so cool, it was also funny at times, a nice, shallow action, and a hot chick too.

This film is set in Vietnam in 1995 and there is war.

4.0 for entertainment.

What a ridiculously bad, run-of-the-mill action/war film this was. Both in terms of story and execution. Just reading about what it's about and where it takes place brings tears to your eyes. Once the tears have dried and you've recovered from the shock, you're like, "Yes, the precursor to Rambo 4!" As bad as this film was (and so cheap), the cast, including B-list actor Michael Dudikoff, who often stars in cheap B-list action films, was just as bad. However, this film does have two positive aspects: its relatively short running time (it's still a pain to watch it all the way through) and the rather pleasant Jacqueline Obradors. This makes the film a bit of a pleasure to watch. Incidentally, I saw this shambles on the MGM channel.

Watched it today on a nice blu-ray mediabook!

A movie we've all seen before, a plane crashes and a woman (a millionaire's daughter) goes on the run and is later held captive in Vietnam.

Dudikoff selects a number of men (and 1 woman) in a prison and together they form a team that will rescue the woman.

So, a familiar story and nowhere does it really stand out, a kind of Missing in action / Dirty Dozen feeling, but a bit less, feels a bit like a B-movie.

Still, it wasn't boring and is certainly entertaining with enough shootouts and explosions!
