What if you walk into a cinema and watch a film about someone walking into a cinema who, in turn, is watching your life, in which you walk into a cinema? The beginning of this film has an intriguing premise that allows for many different directions (meta-film, existential horror, parody). Unfortunately, this film primarily chooses to let it derail into silliness, making it an infinitely less fun and significantly less bloody film than the somewhat related Kamera o Tomeru Na! (2017). The premise remains very fun and is really well executed, and there are some decent jokes here and there afterwards, and it doesn't last long either, but this is one of those films that leaves so much potential untapped that disappointment prevails.
