Eletta Musso is a sixteen-year-old girl and the only hearing child in a deaf family. Every day, she helps the family communicate with the outside world and with daily activities, and plays a central role in their lives. When her singing talent is discovered, her teacher Giuliana encourages her to pursue a more serious musical career, which would require her to leave home. Eletta is thus faced with the challenge of combining her dream with the demands of her family.

As the only hearing person in the family, Eletta [Sarah Toscano] is an important source of support and comfort for her parents [Emilio and Carola Insolera]. Encouraged by a friend [Asia Corvino], Eletta joins the school choir. There she discovers her passion and talent for singing and a reason to choose her own path.
