The more serious and primarily teenage version of 50 First Dates, at least around the premise that someone forgets all new memories after sleeping. The film does go in a completely different direction, so aside from that association, there's no repetition.
A fine film with a pleasantly subdued tone and occasionally beautifully colorful (with strikingly bright green and blue constantly on screen). Despite its relatively short length (well under two hours), the film drags on a bit too long, mainly because it becomes overly melodramical with overly heavy music, which makes the preceding, more impressive piece of music feel lost. A shame. But overall, a solid 3.5*.
