Reasonable film in which a woman decides to leave her fiancé shortly before her wedding. The course of this screwball-like comedy is not easy to predict. The female protagonist is rather chaotic and unbelievable. Catherine Deneuve and Yves Montand do manage to make it fun together. The island in the Bahamas also forms a beautiful backdrop. A small 3.0 stars.

Typical Netflix woke movie full of strong female roles. All lies from Hollywood. No, give me the good old days! Anyway, if you can see through it and keep firmly in mind that it is not the man but the woman who belongs behind the bright orange 70s kitchen counter, then it is a nice movie. Deneuve and Montand are on a roll. No expense or effort has been spared in terms of locations and the film regularly manages to surprise with its over-the-top chaos (that boat, whaha!). Yes, I actually thought Le sauvage was a delightful film.

Quite a hazy movie from beginning to end, the story couldn't really captivate me and was also very chaotic. Yves Montand and Catherine Deneuve play the leading roles and Catherine is 100% eyecandy in this movie. I found that the biggest plus point in this hazy movie
