Normaal gezien zijn incrowd docu's zelden echt een meerwaarde, maar de Osbournes hebben hun moeilijke momenten, twijfels en onzekerheid niet weggestopt. Het is een uniek document van de laatste moeizame jaren van rock-and-roll-grootheid Ozzy Osbourne. Sommigen hebben weinig op met de excentrieke Brit, anderen adoreren hem en zijn werk. Ik behoor tot die laatste groep. Ik had het geluk er op 5 juli bij te zijn toen Ozzy zijn groots en emotioneel farewall gaf in Villa Park. Hoe hij het nog heeft klaargespeeld om twee sets van om en bij het half uur te spelen is echt een waar huzarenstukje. Dat hij een van de strafste frontmannen uit de geschiedenis is, is ontegensprekelijk. Twee weken later was alles voorbij. Een rustig laatste hoofdstuk zijn hem en Sharon niet meer gegund geweest, anderzijds is hij er wel met een knal uitgestapt. Ozzy, een behoorlijk gewone kerel eigenlijk die uitgegroeid is tot een superster. Een fantastisch succesverhaal, maar zijn kleine kantjes en moeilijke momenten zijn niet weggeknipt.
