Safe House plot

In the aftermath of a brutal ambush on the vice president's motorcade, six agents from the Secret Service, CIA, Department of Defense, and Homeland Security are ordered to shelter in a high-security safe house. But when communications are severed and the building is put on lockdown, they discover the real terror lies beneath them: the detonator signal that triggered the citywide attacks has been traced to their location. As armed agents close in and secrets are revealed, distrust spirals into chaos. Every agent possesses secret knowledge and potentially deadly intentions; no one is safe, and no one can be trusted.

A decent action thriller. The story is its biggest drawback. It's completely unbelievable, riddled with plot holes and illogical actions. The execution, however, isn't that bad. Marshall does a pretty good job. The opening is strong and visually stunning. Once inside the safe house, things do get a bit less exciting, but it's certainly not bad. The action is a bit repetitive, but it remains exciting and somewhat mysterious. It's a shame, however, that the story is a bit lousy. 3.0
