A good film in which a planned heist doesn't go as planned. A fairly standard plot for this otherwise entertaining and action-packed heist film. Perhaps a bit long, but it does have some great action scenes (the opening, the subway, and the finale). A decent cast, but no one really impresses. A mere 3.5 stars.

The film has a good pace, and the action, humor, and suspense are well-balanced and of a high standard. The action scenes look good and are sometimes quite spectacular. The suspense is also quite manageable for this genre. The humor isn't overdone, so everything is well-balanced. The cast also performs well, with good chemistry. It does sometimes feel like a bit too much is crammed into the film, but that's not detrimental. Excellent entertainment. 3.5/4.0

Mark Wahlberg's indifferent performance as master criminal Parker prevents this brisk, reasonably inventive crime comedy from gaining momentum. Parker teams up with Grofield [LaKeith Santfield], Zen [Rosa Salazar], and what's left of his regular crew to repay a debt of honor. The target of the next criminal operation is Lozini's [Tony Shalhoub] fortune. Stanfield livens things up, and the action scenes are decent, but otherwise, it's a lackluster affair.
