The Truth about Jussie Smollett? plot

In January 2019, actor Jussie Smollett claimed to have been the victim of a hate crime that shocked Hollywood, but he was later accused of staging the attack. He was arrested and charged with filing a false police report, but the charges were dropped. In 2020, he was charged again and ultimately convicted of five felonies, including lying to police.
