War of the Worlds meets Searching. Searching felt more ingenious and had more suspense. This turned out to be a hyperactive ADHD TikTok film with an Ice Cube who's mostly Ice Cube: "how you like me now?" and mindlessly clicking between chats and video calls.
Not so dramatic that it's unwatchable; once you get used to the TIA-inducing pace, it's an okay watch. Portraying an alien invasion this way is pretty funny, but this concept has been done before and better.
