A wonderful documentary about one of my favorite films. You'd think everything has been said about the difficult production process by now, but director Laurent Bouzereau manages to uncover many new details. Spielberg himself is particularly candid. Not all the interviewees and fans have anything meaningful to say (Emily Blunt is actually quite annoying), and I miss Richard Dreyfuss's participation, but otherwise, this is a feast for the eyes.

A beautiful documentary about the world's most famous shark movie. New footage and interviews with the cast, crew, fans, and villagers (from Martha's Vineyard) are interspersed with old behind-the-scenes footage from that era. It's as if Spielberg already knew this documentary was going to be made. I didn't really know the background of this film, but it's fascinating to see how it came about... and almost didn't.
