The ordinary office worker Kim Dok-ja is a big fan of the obscure web novel 'Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World', which has just been published ten years ago. He is also the only one who has read the story to the end. When he suddenly finds himself in the fantasy world one day, he meets the main character, Yoo Joong-hyuk. The latter has the special gift of coming back to life after death. Together they start a journey to save the world.
