After their armed attack on wealthy landowners doesn’t go according to plan, Hélène breaks away from her fellow activists and flees into the woods. However, her friend Manon turns out to be tormenting her. Hélène examines her beliefs and ponders the life choices she has made. In the midst of all this, she finds herself in a valley where great changes are taking place.
