"Your god is not enough."
Candice, a devout Catholic missionary, and her family attempt to convert an indigenous community in Ecuador. Tensions arise when the local shaman resists her changes. When Candice's son Elliot falls mysteriously ill, she suspects the shaman is behind it. As Elliot's condition worsens, Candice realizes the cause is far more terrifying than she imagined: her son is possessed by a powerful, ancient entity.
