Cold Storage plot
"If it spreads, you're dead."
Teacake and Naomi work at a storage facility built on top of a former military base. Their night shift turns into a nightmare when a government-sealed parasitic fungus escapes from the underground levels. As temperatures rise, the microorganism unleashes its mind-controlling, body-exploding chaos on everything in its path. Teacake and Naomi must join forces with a seasoned bioterrorist to contain the threat before it causes humanity's extinction.

Simply enjoyable. The film takes a while to get going (apart from the opening) and never really takes off (it could have used a lot more silliness), but it does get better as it goes along. Neeson is excellent in this lighthearted role, and the film has that typical, easy-on-the-eyes quality that makes me less bothered by ugly CGI. And it's great that at the end an actual nuclear bomb is detonated (although that fire through those corridors makes no sense; the whole area is vaporized within a millisecond). 3.0*.
