Hawaiian Birds plot

Two Hawaiian birds - a girl and a boy - are setting up their household and the boy is busy building a beautiful nest when the Orioles from the Big City come calling. When she hears jazz for the first time, the girl is helplessly drawn to the tree where the Orioles are playing and can't help but dance. The bandleader invites her to join them and she sets off for the big city on the mainland, leaving a note for the poor boy. He follows her to the big city, where it is snowing and the heartless bandleader leaves the girl out in the cold because he has had enough of her.
