Confessions of a Romance Narrator plot

Jasalyn is an audiobook narrator of romances. She spends her time in her closet with a microphone, reading aloud chapters of books that describe the kind of romances everyone dreams of but rarely experiences. Jasalyn works hard to make sure every narration is perfect. She creates a different voice for each character. She video chats with her acting coach, and together they practice the perfect “O” sound while her new upstairs neighbor listens with his mouth pressed to the floor.
