Pudgy Takes a Bow-Wow plot

Betty leaves Pudgy in her dressing room while she performs her show. Her show involves her singing a song and then pretending to be a Chinese and an Italian organ grinder. While she is singing, a kitten comes to the dressing room and Pudgy gets out and starts chasing it. They come on stage and into the orchestra pit and become part of the act, outshining Betty.
