Elizabeth Fenwick is a loving mother in her forties. In her younger years, she loved to dance and became the prom queen. Together with her husband and teenage daughter, Grace, she returns to her hometown. There, Elizabeth is confronted with her school years, which she still cherishes. She wants the same life for Grace and will do anything to make her a successful dancer. But when Grace is not accepted to the dance team, something snaps inside Elizabeth.
