Der Prank plot

In the family around twelve-year-old Lucas Roosen, a supposedly innocent April Fool's joke by their Chinese exchange student Xi Zhou causes a real mess in the life of the Roosens. The joke leads to a wild chase involving not only clumsy police officers, but also gangster rappers and musclemen. In the chaotic confusion, the family stumbles upon an extortion scheme and is confronted with challenges that break old habits.
