The Birthday Party plot
In the 1970s, magnate Marcos Timoleon organizes an extravagant birthday party for his daughter Sofia on his private island. The party is a good excuse for the many guests, each with their own agenda, to approach Marcos. The host himself wants to make a decision on Sofia's behalf, but she has important news to announce. As night falls, a confrontation between the two occurs and the party transforms into a decadent affair.

On June 1, 1975, a Greek multimillionaire [Willem Dafoe] hosts a private party on his private island for the first time since the tragic death of his son. The occasion is his daughter's [Vic Carmen Sonnee] 25th birthday, but both father and daughter want to use this opportunity for a dramatic announcement.
