I saw the terrible average on IMDb, but still went in positive. Star Trek and the mirror universe is usually a recipe for a tasteful film.
But Jesus Christ, this was really, really bad. The film flies in all directions. The dialogues are worthless, any attempt at humor is a total failure. The cast is downright bad. There's even an alien with an Irish accent. Philippa, who we know in the mirror universe as a ruthless tyrant, is portrayed here as a loving friend of the federation with a lot of emotion for someone she had already emotionally settled with in her childhood.
The story was so excruciatingly dull and uninteresting that at times I simply could not keep my attention. On any other weekday I would probably have fallen asleep.
They should be ashamed of themselves for daring to release this. If in doubt, don't even start.

Mediocre science fiction film. The story is simple and the execution is also very superficial. In short, a case of wanting to score easily. The name Star Trek would not occur to you at all if you watch the film without prior knowledge. If you let go of that, you will see an unbalanced film. The beginning is okay, but during the film it becomes more messy and certainly towards the end it is a mess with long-winded action scenes and a lot of unnecessary bombast.
