The Wedding Banquet plot

Chris refuses his friend Min's spontaneous marriage proposal, whereupon Min convinces his best friend Angela to marry him. In this way, he obtains a residence permit and in return he pays for the IVF treatment of her beloved Liz. The planned discreet visit to the city hall falls through when Min's grandmother from Seoul surprises them with a visit. She wants to organize a lavish Korean wedding meal.
