A Harvest Homecoming plot

Drew Clark is a teacher. He accepts a temporary job as a substitute teacher in his old hometown of Chestnut Hollow, Texas, where he meets Aiden, the proverbial new kid in school desperate for a caring friend. Though he would rather have taken a job elsewhere, Drew changes his mind in Chestnut Hollow when he meets Lainie Abbott, the new manager of his parents’ massive apple orchard and cider factory and, more importantly, Aiden’s mother.
