Brothers under Fire plot

When Captain Jordan Wright and his unit are granted leave from their mission to attend a crewmate’s wedding in Mexico, the festivities are interrupted by the murderous fall of a cartel on the small town. As Jordan tries to get his remaining men to safety, war breaks out between his team and the cartel. Now besieged in the enemy’s deadly stronghold, Jordan has no choice but to engage in an all-out battle to save the only family he has left.

A decent action movie. The story is simple and far from original. Despite the plot, the execution turned out quite well. The film has a fairly long build-up to the action-packed ending. But Chadwick manages to build a good arc of suspense during that part. It is all predictable, but thanks to the pace and short running time, the film doesn't get boring. The action at the end looks polished but never becomes memorable. The acting is otherwise fine. A good little diversion. 3.5

Didn't expect much from it, but still a decent film. Beautiful settings with a calm build-up. The acting doesn't always come across well, but that didn't spoil the fun.
