Businessman Antonio is having an affair with Raquel, who wants him to divorce his wife Elena. As an anniversary gift, he buys Elena a statue - the titular Kneeling Goddess - modeled, unbeknownst to him, on Raquel. Antonio marries Raquel after Elena dies under suspicious circumstances, but all is not as it seems.
