A good film in terms of actors, atmosphere, and suspense. A film that gives you a good sense of what it is like to be in the main character's shoes. In terms of realism, I can't believe that a prisoner who takes on a whole group of officers is returned to a cell very quickly instead of going to solitary confinement. Additionally, the haircut by the cellmate who lives with his rival is also unbelievable.
Apart from those things that seem completely unrealistic to me, I thought it was a very good film with convincing acting.

Taylor [David Jonsson] has been in a prison with hardened criminals for 13 years for manslaughter, because two people died after taking an illegal drug he had supplied to them. After so much time, you would expect him to know the ropes, yet he acts like a frightened rabbit when his new cellmate [Tom Blyth] tries to take over the trade in phones, cigarettes, drugs, and other stuff that reaches the prison via drones. Well-directed and gives a vivid, raw, realistic picture of the problems in many British prisons. But Taylor is an implausible character, and the attempts to portray him as a victim of circumstances are unconvincing.

A raw prison movie with a strong cast. Is it all groundbreaking? No, of course not! But does that matter? No, not at all! The film simply gets right up close and personal, and you can easily follow the tensions of the various inmates. The gem of this film is undoubtedly Tom Blyth, who has an exceptional presence and truly embodies himself here. We will be hearing a lot more from this gentleman! Just for him alone, that's an extra 0.5 bonus point.
