On November 17, 1978, four young friends disappeared after working at the fast food restaurant "Burger Chef." Two days later, their bodies were found in rural Johnson County, 20 miles away. On November 17, 1978, four young employees of a Burger Chef restaurant in the small town of Speedway, Indiana, disappeared. Two days later, their bodies were found about 30 miles away. Kamien and Rynderman use actors to reconstruct what the four victims may have experienced that night, interspersing these reconstructions with interviews with family members, police officers, and eyewitnesses. It looks like an amateurishly acted fake documentary, but strangely enough, it isn't. In any case, it's a clumsily edited work full of all the clichés of true crime documentaries.
