Nice video.
Reminds me of the more creative work that came out of China 20 years ago, when they still hadn't really figured out what kind of movies they wanted to make. At its core a simple romance, but with a lot of fun and creative details that make sure this isn't just another simple romance movie.
Visually very neat, actors do well and a playful story. Despite that, the structure remains fairly predictable, but when a film crew of 60s aliens ostentatiously capture the whole event, it's all just a little bit different. More of this, I miss these kinds of movies.
