Documentary about the 1960 Winter Olympics held in Squaw Valley, United States. Innsbruck, St. Moritz and Garmisch-Partenkirchen were also candidates. When it was decided in 1955 that Squaw Valley would host the Games, the "village" had only one resident: the organizer of the Games, Alexander Cushing. After the organization was awarded to the ski resort, the necessary facilities were built at a rapid pace.
