"East of the sun and west of the moon."

Fearless, curious and adventurous girl Liv dreams of leaving her home in the forest. When polar bear Valemon offers her family a way out of poverty if she goes with him, she accepts. A friendship develops between the two, a friendship that could grow into something deeper. Valemon is not only a bear, but also a prince who was once cursed by a witch.
