Perfectly a Strangeness plot

In a sweltering desert landscape, three donkeys stumble upon an observatory. There, not a world, but an entire universe opens up for them. Palomo, Ruperto and Palaye, as the animals are called, feast on the wonders of technology and the infinite beauty of our galaxy.

Seen at the Go Short festival as an Oscar nomination. Peculiar film. We follow three donkeys on their way to an observatory—yes, really. So, not a word is spoken. It is slow. The shots of and around the observatory are the most beautiful; and that feels quite detached from the donkeys.
