20 years after his wife [Elise Maning] and son [Leo Wildhagen] were murdered in their home, Harold Weems [Bob Gallagher] returns to his former home to debunk rumors that he was the killer. Documentary filmmaker Apollo [LeJon Woods] is hired to document the incident and discovers too late that he has been lured to the house as a sacrifice for the demon of the title. In 2003, nurse Naomi [Caroline Quigley] arrives at the same house to care for the bedridden Deloris [Kimberly Salditt Poulin], Harold's second wife. The longest segment takes place in January 2013 when Harold and Deloris' son Lucas [Nicolas Robin] and his wife Nova [Victoria Fradkin] visit the house that was left to them with the intention of selling it. Each episode is essentially a variation on the same story and it is incomprehensible that the police have never had the house investigated. The story is mediocre, the screenplay certainly not original, but Fradkin's direction is excellent and he still manages to create an ominous atmosphere with a few successful jump scares. The director has a cameo during the credits as the father who moves into the cursed house with his wife and children.
