Elevation plot
"Don't go down without a fight."
In a post-apocalyptic world, monstrous creatures hunt humans. A single father lives with his young son and two other women in the Rocky Mountains where it is safe. However, the boy is sick. In an attempt to find supplies, they must leave the safety of their home and enter an area that has been taken over by the creatures.

Not a very interesting science fiction thriller from the hand of director George Nolfi, with a lack of highlights as the main killer. It also doesn't help that Elevation has a very thin content, with justifications and motivations that seem to have been directly taken from genre peers. Nolfi does a good job of keeping the introduction reasonably limited and not stretching the running time too far, but he does shoot himself in the foot by showing the threat very early on. A number of drone images look good visually, but the effects are not always equally strong and the build-up of tension is always lacking. Elevation does have quality to a certain extent, but not enough to make it an exciting and/or memorable spectacle.
