When Cécile [Mélissa Barbaud] and her husband Alex [Pio Marmai] have to go to the hospital to give birth, she asks their single neighbor Sandra [Valeria Bruni Tedeschi], whom they barely know, to babysit their son Elliott [César Botti]. Sandra reluctantly agrees and immediately hits it off with her disarmingly honest guest. What happens that day completely turns the lives of everyone involved upside down, including Cécile's mother [Catherine Mouchet] and Elliott's biological father [Raphaël Quenard]. An excellent film about a woman who waits for her neighbor's little boy to be born until his sister. There's a fair amount of tragedy here, but the film is full of beautiful, small, and sometimes touching moments (especially the scene at the airport). The characters and their relationships are well-developed.
