Yeah, what can I say. The story actually appealed to me. The execution is, as so often, less. A lot of screaming does not make a horror film more exciting or scary. Yet the screaming often drowns out, both the boy's and the young lady's. Actually no explanation where the creature comes from, what he wants and why he suddenly came into being. Very little gore and tension do not make it much better. With my 2.0* stars I am still being lenient. I was in a good mood
