Four teenage boys start their first week of high school. When Ruby's parents won't be home for the weekend, his older brother decides to throw the biggest party of the year. Nice movie about four friends who start high school and have their first party. Absolutely clichéd in every way and seen it all before. Still entertaining and enough fun situations. Furthermore well cast and the pace is also high enough.

A teen high school movie with jokes and gags and then you know what is coming your way cannot be of a high standard. These movies are also so similar, fish in the same pond that it is difficult to come up with something refreshing. Drink, drugs, parties and sex is the usual cocktail for this kind of movies.
There are some nice bits here and there like with the Tesla, but in general it is very bland. I also had the impression that there were hardly any normal characters in it. Either over the top acting or they were weirdos.
I thought Mason Thames was okay here. Not great, but if you want to shut your mind for a night, this is the place to be.

Great movie, mindless entertainment with a good pace. The hour and a half playing time should not have been a minute longer, to avoid repetition.
Compared to the movie Project X, which has a similar feel, this movie is a bit tame, although these guys play a somewhat younger character I think. The cast was refreshing, with some stereotypical dialogues here and there. Everything and everyone seemed to be a caricature of themselves, but that brings the humor in this movie. Nice jokes alternated with the necessary cliché poop and pee humor, but oh well...
