Afdwalen plot

Mark, Ismail and Johan are looking for Christmas trees for the annual Christmas tree burning in Amsterdam North. Due to an accumulation of bad luck, misunderstandings and coincidences, they become increasingly frustrated. They feel ridiculed by an older woman whose Christmas tree they prey on and they are harassed by a group of older boys. More importantly, the friends appear to have secrets from each other, which puts pressure on their friendship.
