Hellboy: The Crooked Man plot
"Something crooked this way comes."
The demon Hellboy was discovered as a baby by Professor Trevor 'Broom' Bruttenholm. The founder of the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense raised Hellboy to defend humanity from monsters. In the 1950s, Hellboy becomes stranded in rural Appalachia with Bobbie Jo Song, a rookie BPRD agent. The small community is plagued by witches, who are in turn led by a local devil with a disturbing connection to Hellboy's past: the Crooked Man.

Just saw it in the cinema, what a waaaaaz good film. I really didn't expect it to be this good. I liked the hellboy comics, I thought the previous films were below average, but what a nice dark atmosphere a la quentin tarantino. For those who want action or comedy, this film is not really recommended. Not much happens in the film, while a lot does happen. I also don't think most women will like it, it's not really horror, but it does have a horror atmosphere. Positively surprised.

tarantino version but then based on horror ... not really action, not really comedy ... but i thought this was vaguely good, hard story. i didn't really like the previous hellboys, but this one was a standout. not suitable for the average woman ... my previous review has been removed ... a movie for the cinema, at home it would be less ...
