Syrian Hamid [Adam Bessa] goes to asylum centers in Germany in search of “his brother.” In reality, he’s part of a six-person group that (ironically) uses a multiplayer wargame to coordinate their hunt for war criminals. With the help of a German activist [Julia Franz Richter], Hamid tracks down a man [Tawfeek Barhom] who was involved in Hamid’s own captivity and torture. An interesting premise with an intense performance from Bessa, but Millet only manages to create some (subliminal) tension towards the denouement and the lack of action makes this a relatively long watch.
