Well, this is all very bombastic Hollywood, which was to be expected with James Vanderbilt as director. Russell Crowe as Göring is quite hilarious. The film strikes a chord by showing very explicit images of the extermination camps, just like those shown at the trial at the time. It did have a bit of an "A Few Good Men" ("You want the truth?") vibe. I don't know how accurate it all is, but it was quite entertaining. Three stars is enough for me.

A good film about the Allied tribunal where Nazi leaders were tried. An entertaining film with some good dialogue and, above all, excellent acting (it's hard to imagine otherwise with such a cast). Nothing new under the sun, and it all stays safely within the lines. But it's solid nonetheless. Easily 3.5 stars.

This film is a mixed bag for me. Russel Crowe truly steals the show; what a great actor he is, and he delivers a believable, nuanced, and engaging performance by Hermann Göring. The tribunal's setup is also very interesting and well-executed.

Then Rami Malek. Just no. This man is so distracting with his acting. He already ruined the role of Freddy once, and I really wonder why people think he can act at this level. Certainly not in these kinds of roles.

The film's focus was, as expected, very American, on the Holocaust, and that, in my opinion, distracted considerably from the personal stories of the 22 Nazis and their trial.

The approach of a psychiatrist responsible for ensuring the Nazis were brought to justice, based on Jack El-Hai's book, was very interesting. Three stars, a pass.
