Heavenly Puss plot
During a chase after Jerry, Tom receives a piano or his head, causing him to die. When he arrives at the "Heavenly Express", the train that will take him to heaven, he is refused by the conductor. He is sent back to Earth and given an hour to get Jerry to sign a document asking Tom's forgiveness for all the years of hauntings. If that doesn't work, Tom won't get a ticket for the train and will have to go to hell.

Less cat & mouse as we are used to, but one with depth. Tom's conscience perhaps? It is an outsider in the series and that in itself makes it interesting. Although it could have been a little more.
