A Mistake plot

During an operation led by surgeon (and non-actress) Elizabeth Taylor [Elizabeth Banks], her intern Richard [Richard Crouchley] causes a complication. The patient [Acacia O'Connor] survives the procedure, but when she dies in intensive care overnight, her parents demand answers. At the behest of hospital director Alistair [Joel Tobeck], department head Andrew McGrath [Simon McBurney] launches an investigation aimed primarily at protecting the hospital's reputation.
