Smart House plot

Mari is an influencer and known for social media. She lives alone in a luxurious house equipped with the latest technical gadgets. The system is controlled by "Cassandra", an artificial intelligence. However, a shady hacker traps Mari in the house. Mari is forced to broadcast a strange live stream. Meanwhile, Mari's relatives and friends try to free her.

I saw somewhere about two years ago that James Wan was supposedly involved with this production. When I did a second investigation during the viewing to see if this was actually true (given the abysmal quality, that is), I couldn't find any evidence of it. A stupid mistake on my part, then, because Smart House is naturally not exactly the end result you would want to put your own name to. Poor acting, ugly cinematography, and above all, completely illogical. The main character, for example, gets roped into all sorts of nonsense while she is never actually in danger. You won't get any form of suspense or innovation here either. Smart House is the typical trash that gets put on networks like Tubi and then gets buried under dust.
