Masud Rana, codename MR-9, is a secret agent of the Bangladesh Counter Intelligence Agency. Masud Rana (code name: MR-9) is affectionately known as the Bengali James Bond in Bangladesh. So I can safely say that this is a third-rate rip-off of James Bond featuring BCI agent Mr-9 [Abm Sumon] who teams up with CIA agents Taylor [Niko Foster] and Duke [Michael Jait White] to to destroy the empire of brothers Roman [Frank Grillo] and Ricci Ross [Mart Passmore]. Sumon only has one look (and this includes no acting talent) and the action scenes are abysmal. The hilarious highlight is a chase on a boat, in which Sumon at least shows that he can jump over a cardboard box that he would rather (more or less) jump over a table less than a meter wide than avoid it. Without that horrible electronic score, this would probably be a hilariously bad movie. Now it's just an annoying mess. Dedicated to Qazi Anwar Husain, the spiritual father of MR-9, who passed away in 2022.
